Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Sports Epidemiology.
Key Responsibilities
Leads a team of epidemiologists and data scientists, overseeing
sports injury analytics programs
Develops and communicates the vision for sports injury programs and
authors protocols, reports, and presentations
Manages financial aspects of projects, ensuring on-time and
on-budget delivery while mentoring junior staff
Required Qualifications
Master's degree required; Ph.D. preferred in epidemiology, public
health, or a related field
10+ years of relevant experience for Master's degree holders; 7+
years for Ph.D. holders
Relevant expertise in athlete injury, health, orthopedics, or
concussion preferred
Broad management knowledge to lead teams and influence others
Experience in statistical analysis and epidemiological
oversight
