Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have experience in legal drafting and client engagement and possess a deep commitment to delivering high-quality legal services with compassion
• Minimum 6 years of experience practicing estate planning law
• Active license and good standing with the California Bar
• Strong knowledge of estate planning principles, tax implications, and relevant laws
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality in client matters
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Legal drafting proficiency with attention to detail
• Client-focused approach with a dedication to providing compassionate legal counsel
• Problem-solving and analytical skills to navigate complex legal issues
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to lead and collaborate effectivelyResponsibilities
  • Conduct in-person planning sessions for potential clients to assess their estate planning needs and develop legal strategies
  • Design and oversee the implementation of estate plans, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
  • Supervise and review legal drafting prepared by paralegals and legal assistants to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards
  • Represent clients for non-contested conservatorship and trust modification petitions as needed
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to address inquiries, provide updates, and ensure their satisfaction with legal services
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to optimize client service
