Job Description:
A company is looking for a Residential Mortgage Specialist
responsible for expanding customer relationships and originating
consumer loan applications.
Key Responsibilities
Originate loans and conduct loan pre-qualification interviews,
recommending appropriate loan programs
Accept and ensure the completeness and compliance of loan
applications, maintaining communication with applicants
Follow up on leads and promote loan programs through collaboration
with internal colleagues and referral sources
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience
2-4 years of experience in residential loan origination, consumer
lending, processing, or credit with a financial institution
Must comply with regulatory requirements such as ECOA and RESPA
Ability to maintain open lines of communication with borrowers and
internal stakeholders
Must pass a credit check as per regulatory requirements
