A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter, Employee
Benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct risk assessment and decision-making on renewals,
amendments, and add-coverage opportunities
Collaborate with the Distribution team to deliver timely renewals
while aligning with financial objectives
Work with other departments and vendor partners on
underwriting-related issues and best practices
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Group Employee Benefits Underwriting experience
Experience with Life, STD, LTD, Dental, Vision, Accident, Critical
Illness, or Hospital Indemnity products
Bachelor's degree or relevant hands-on work experience
Proven ability to negotiate and establish customer service
skills
High level of reliability, responsibility, and organization
