Volt is immediately hiring for Professional Writer in Fullerton, CA

As a Professional Writer you will:

Write, organize, and format detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various production tasks
Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, and easy to understand for production staff.
Collaborate with the Supervisor and Lead to review and revise documents as needed.
Maintain an organized library of all SOPs, work orders, and forms for easy access and reference.
Identify opportunities to improve existing documentation for clarity and efficiency

This is a full-time opportunity Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm. OT required if needed.



The ideal candidate will have Mandatory Skills:

Proven experience as a professional writer, technical writer, or in a similar role.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to translate complex instructions into clear, step-by-step documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with document formatting.
Experience working in or documenting processes for a production or manufacturing environment is a plus.
Knowledge of SOP creation and documentation best practices.
Familiarity with production or manufacturing processes.



Pay Rate: $ 30.00 - 40.00 Hourly
